IMHO the term "shaving sharp" is used way to loosely. A shaving sharp edge to me will shave your face comfortably. Not just scrape off the hair, but be just as pleasant as a straight razor shave. Kershaw Skyline, an awesome EDC that also takes & HOLDS a stupendous edge. The Sandvik 14C28 steel is as good as stainless steel gets sharpness-wise. Sharpened free hand, 15 degrees per side (or to be exact 15.2 & 14.3 according to the Angle Cube) Finished on 0.025 micron mono diamond on nano-cloth.
