Richmond Fanatic This is an awesome knife, AEB-L @ about 61 HRC Swedish steel made in to a beautiful knife, designed by Mark Richmond & made in America. Takes a stupendous edge with ease using Shapton Pro's & Ken Schwartz compounds. Awesome shave! It took away several weeks of hair in one pass. The second one was just to get some stray fuss.. As always, I'm so grateful for my amazing teachers, Mr Tom Blodgett who strongly inspired the sharpening process with his "actively convex" stone free hand technique (yes, it did shave at 1.5K :-0 )& the zoop-zoop (tm) And Ken Schwartz for his "beyond sharp" philosophy & the ankle-pivot trick (yes, I used it once past 5K, works like a charm!)
