JOHN WATERS came to Hudson NY at FINCH and did a book signing event for his latest 'CARSICK': John Waters Hitchhikes across America on Oct. 18, 2014. It was a small intimate crowd and was a great place to meet him.The book event was hosted by Andres Arrick and Michael Hofemann of FINCH:Life Curated. Mr. Waters followed it up with a one man show of' Filthy World Volume 2' at Basilica Hudson. It was a Benefit Performance for Basilica Arts-The Aids Council of Northeastern New York. The ahead of his time visionary filmmaker of such films as Pink Flamingos, Hairspray, Polyester, Female Trouble and CryBaby. John Waters has been dubbed the "Pope Of Trash" and branded "O for Offensive" by the Catholic Church. He has turned bad taste into high art.
