The Tracer 9 GT is now available to order. Following the lead of its little brother, the MT 09, the Tracer 900 Gt is getting a full host of updates, but they are also updating the price considerably. Is it still the great value that it was? Welcome to @sixthisoverdrive First off is the engine, which upon first look seems unchanged for 2021, which you would be wrong in assuming as the displacement has been increased to just a tick under 900cc’s to 899. This allows for a claimed 7% increase in power as well as places the peak power 1500 rpm lower in the range for what should be an all-around better low-end power, something the Tracer 900 gt was not lacking in the first place. Not only are we bringing weight savings and more power to the table, but the bike will also be euro 5 compliant and a 9% increase in fuel economy. There are also a host of other changes to the driveline and transmission that are all designed to be more efficient and refined, and I feel this could go a long way in making things feel that much more like an upscale bike.
