Owners of garages know this torment. We have a 2 step solution using a) Neos Cameras that enable us to provide a visual check b) Motion Detection and Door Contact sensor from Neos that will send an alert to our smartphones. Total solution cost is about 60 GBP and in the 3 months or so of testing this solution has been seen to be reliable. The Neos sensors operate using the Industry standard 433 Mhz protocol. We had hoped to use regular 433 Mhz sensors and hubs exanmple from Sonoff but the limitation was that the Door sensor could not detect open from closed. But the Neos sensor can! So we've gone with this packaged solution instead. (In the US and other territories the Neos camera is sold under the Wyze branding. Ands to answer the other 2 user questions a) Don't know if the Wyze v3 is compatible with these sensores b) Don't know if the Wyze v3 will come to the UK as an upgraded Neos (who I contacted and they would not tell me or even hint) )
