Live busking at the annual Edinburgh Beach Busk, at Edinburgh's Portobello Beach Promenade. The whole promenade is full of buskers, from individual players, playing completely acoustically, ukulele groups, people singing or playing an instrument to backing tracks, full brass band and electric guitar bands. I played this year with my 16yr old son. For those interested in my busking gear (I'm new to busking & thus battery-powered set-ups), I used : Roland RD88 e.piano - powered by a 12V battery (LiFePO4, 8Ah) The piano and various guitars were plugged into a Roland Cube Street EX busking amp, purely on the amp's eight AA battery pack, then I took a Line-Out into a channel of a Bose S1 Pro speaker to further spread the sound. The Bose speaker really fattened up the overall sound. A Shure SM58 was used for vocals and worked great into the amps.
