Decided to try my hand at building an electric guitar from parts, without spending crazy amounts. (I spent just under £200 GBP) and had lots of fun along the way !!! Custom (recycled) pine guitar body, routed for ONE pickup (£50) (Ebay seller : upcycledguitars ) 50’s style Telecaster type neck (I bought used, about 8yrs back on ebay, for £50) Tonerider AC2 Alnico II humbucker pickup (£46), Steel tailpiece (£10 on ebay) Bridge - Tunomatic style (soon to change for a Wilkinsons tunomatic bridge, £15). Scrap scratchplate left-over (had for years) Volume pot, mini-toggle DPDT switch & jack socket (and need a knob for the volume pot, so will add up to about £10) Strings - 12-54 nickel-wound D’Addarrios £8
