Also known as Kabarega Falls, Murchison Falls is located in the Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda. The park is a popular place for safaris. After a bumpy ride to the National Park from Kampala, I got to Paraa. Next up was a launch trip. The boat trip upstream took a couple of hours. I saw plenty of wild animals. Eventually you could see (and hear) Murchison Falls in the distance. The boat left me quite a distance from the falls and I hiked the rest of the way. It is extremely hot and humid here. As I got closer and closer, the roar of the waterfall became louder and louder. The volume of water crashing down is mind boggling. It is incredible to think that almost all the water in the Nile forces its way through such a small gap. Technical specs: Shot on a GoPro Fusion.
