Calico Ghost Town Halloween unlike any other. カリフォルニアのゴーストタウン、キャリコで過ごす唯一無二のハロウィーン。 This is a VR180 video. Use your finger to swipe or mouse cursor to grab the screen and look around. Best viewed in 3D on a HMD. No host. No voice-over. No music. Just pure immersion. Calico was founded in 1881 as a silver mining town. It was abandoned less than 20 years later. It has since been restored and has received a State Historical Landmark. There is a big Halloween celebration here every year. For understandable reasons, this year's festivities were much more subdued. I toured the town and checked out old dwellings and mines in the nearby desert. The shops and restaurants are open, but the attractions, such as the railroad, are not. This is a really fun, family friendly, place and I highly recommend it. The entrance fee as of October, 2020 is $8 per person. Calico Ghost Town is easily accessible from I-15 between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. You do not need a 4x4 to access the parking lot.
