Miles from anyone, on a small island accessible only by boat, a vector light guides ships. Not that I saw any. Took a boat to the small island of Vähä-Juures, located on Finland’s second largest lake, Lake Päijänne. This place is extremely remote. Who knows how long it has been since anyone came here last. The setting is serene. The sound of the waves is soothing, the sun casts extremely long shadows and you are literally alone. You’re so far up north that the sun is up when it supposed to be night. The sector light reaches a height of 10.4m (34 ft). Technical specs: Shot on a GoPro Fusion. Edited and finished with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
