Unknown to even most Finnish people I've spoken to, Sapokka Water Garden is actually easy to find in Kotka. Designated as a park over a century ago, in the early nineties the park was converted to what it is today. The centerpiece is a 20m (65ft) artificial waterfall. The water is actually pumped 500m (0.3 miles) from the sea. "Kiviset Kotkat" is a stone exhibition featuring over 20 different kinds of rocks found in Finland. You'll also find several bronze animal sculptures scattered throughout the park. The park also has areas with different kinds of plants, flowers and vegetation. I saw people running, biking and walking their dogs in the peaceful surroundings. It's also a good place to enjoy the sunset, which is exactly what I did. Technical specs: Shot on a Vuze XR.
