Just beyond The Slot (Slot Canyon) is the West Butte Wind Caves trail. The parking area is accessible from the 78 highway. You do not need a 4x4 but you must use caution driving here. I went on an extremely hot day, it was 40°C (104°F) and not a cloud in the sky. I'm glad I brought lots of water with me. You still have to be extremely careful not to get a heat stroke. I made my way up the hill. There are several "holes" and small caves on the way up. These were formed by the wind over millennia. It was not crowded at all. In fact, I only saw one other group of people the whole day.
