Getting to Tegallalang Rice Terrace (Sawah Terasering Tegalalang) from Ubud is an easy 30-minute scooter ride. Parking at the site is hassle-free and convenient. At first the rice fields worked by local farmers seem a bit touristy, but as you walk further down the trails, you can find solitude and tranquility. The trails are easy to maneuver and suitable for most people. Some of the paths might be considered somewhat steep. This place is incredibly photogenic so one will probably spend a lot of time taking pictures. There are jungle swings and zip lines if you want to try them. You have to pay for them separately. The adjacent village of Pakudui offers local crafts for sale. There are also many places to grab a drink or a bite to eat.
