solotripper's video: CARVING A Bowl From A Pine Burl Building My Skill Set

Still raining, so it's another day around the cabin. Located a nice burl off a dead Jack Pine and harvested it with the saw. This should do just fine to make a nice bowl....or something else, doesn't really matter lol. Into the vice it goes and time to mess around with it! Spent 4 hours or so on it, have now dug out the main part, time for the sanding and the finishing which will be on another video. The weather broke for an hour so I went across the lake to retrieve some firewood (constant chore), and stopped at the spooky campsite to hike up to the Inukshuk and photograph it. CRAZY SKY and a great view of the cabin, mailed some nice photos. Back just in time to get pounded once again...the lake levels have come up close to a foot from what I can tell over the last week....NON STOP RAIN! Enjoy and stay safe everyone!
