Yeah, yeah, I know. Winter - shminter. In many places of North America we have just about had our fill of the winter season. Many of us have tolerance levels right full to the brim of what we want to see from the season. Many of us had had far more copious amounts of snow, or even lower temperatures then we are having in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Especially in places, such as the far South of the USA, folks are having to deal with icy and snow covered roads, which makes outings dangerous for them. I am sure many folks will have their winter eye rolling stories to tell for years. In this clip, it is a double whammy: 2 separate mornings of cold starts, (and by GTA standards I do mean cold, and my body has acclimatized to the relatively mild winters we usually get, unlike what I grew up in while living in Quebec) featuring the Ariens 1130DLE snowblower and the household workhorse, the 2001 Chevy Malibu. Both started well, and while they did start, I could honestly feel the were not the most happy doing so. A good battery and synthetic oil in one and a few strong yanks on a cord had both running in short order. A short demo showing the snow blower in use is at the end of the clip. More to come - getting back to the enjoyment of old cars pretty soon, in fact, there is a clip with a V-log and a Powerglide automatic in the wings awaiting to be put up.
