DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!! ITS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO OPEN YOUR TV!!!! YOU CAN KILL YOURSELF!! IM NOT KIDDING!! The result of my attempt to hack this Sony Trinitron NTSC TV to accept 15khz RGB signal for the perfect console gaming experience. Although it technically works, it didn't come out so great as you can see. There is so much more involved getting that signal right than first appears. Despite my best efforts and multiple experimental circuits and other ideas, I found leaving the signal direct to the OSD was the best result as shown here. I'm just not the expert on this topic nor do I have the drive to do the research to figure out what needs to be done.
