The NNR put on their usual intensive timetable and maintained reasonable time throughout the day. At Weybourne, the activity around lunchtime in particular pushed me close to breaking point as I tried to keep up with the action and it became worse as, after a relocation, when we rushed from the car 200 yds to the track as the train approached, back to the car for lunch and then had to repeat the sprint to the track once more (lunch unfinished) when somebody spotted steam approaching. The Weybourne home signal was a constant source of frustration ruining the shots between the A149 and the station. The sun shone brightly until early afternoon, but the wind blew strongly throughout and later we had an extended squall as 4 trains passed in short order at the end of the day. This only increased my opinion that the NNR is the most difficult railway of all on which to film. Guest locomotives were the highly esteemed LNER D49 62712 Morayshire and SVR GWR Tank 1501. They were accompanied by 9F 92203, Standard 4 76084 and B12 8512. All in all a very good line-up. 1501 at Sheringham Golf Course, A149 bridge, Weybourne and Kelling Heath; 8512 approaching Weybourne with the goods; at Sheringham GC and at Kelling Heath; 76084 on Sheringham cliffs, at A149 bridge and approaching Weybourne; LNER 985 and Wissington at Weybourne; 62712 at Sheringham GC, approaching Weybourne with the signal on, at Kelling Heath with the goods and re-starting the non-stop with 92203 outside Weybourne (having been stopped at the home signal to be told they were now a stopping train). 92203 on Sheringham cliffs, at A149 bridge racing an orange bus and at Kelling Heath.
