Even without guest engimes this was a very enjoyable Gala at the KWVR, restoring some of my enthusiasm which took a battering last week. All but one of the shots were in sunshine and all of the locomotives gave fine performances. In fact we are thinking of setting up a fan club for the driver of the Black Five, which gave a matchless performance. LNWR Webb Coal Tank1054 approaching Damems and leaving Haworth; WD Austerity 2-8-0 90733 at Ingrow tunnel and Top Field with passenger and goods; LMS Black Five 45305 on Oakworth Bank and at Mytholmes tunnel; LMS 4F 43924 and West Country Pacific 34092 City of Wells at Damems loop; 34092 on Oakworth Bank and Top Field.
