An excellent day at the GCR for this 50 year commorative event. Two visiting locomotives - Ivatt 4 43106 (The Flying Pig) and 9F 92212 were the stars - and they were supported by local engines masqerading as former shed occupants: Balck Five 45305 (44814) 9F 92214 (92220 Evening Star) 48305 (48121) and Jinty 47406 (47203). 44814 at Woodthorpe, Quorn and Woodthorpe (goods); 92212 at Woodthorpe, Epinal Way Bridge and Quorn; 43106 at Woodthorpe, Epinal Way Bridge, Woodthorpe (goods) and Quorn (goods); 48121 at A6 Bridge, approaching Quorn with goods and passenger; 96220 at A6 Bridge, approaching Quorn (twice); 47203 at Charnwood Water, Epinal Way Bridge and Quorn.
