Tricky conditions for filming with strong winds, especially on Friday, and rapidly changing light levels on Saturday with some sunshine. Two guest locos in the shape of SR U Class 31806 and Battle of Britain Sir Keith Park 34053. 31806 performed enthusiastically, but the latter (though a magnificent locomotive) ran in virtual silence on the flat tracks of the GCR. The guests were backed up by the home fleet in the shape of GWR 6990 Witherslack Hall, LMS 8F 48624, LMS Black 5 45305, Ivatt 2 46521, SR 777 Sir Lamiel and 9F 92214 running as 92220 Evening Star. 6990 at Charnwood Water, Epinal Way, Quorn, Kinchley Lane and Quorn (minerals); 31806 at Woodthorpe (twice), Quorn (twice) and approaching Quorn with the TPO; 48624 at Quorn, A6 Bridge (minerals), approaching Quorn, Quorn, Woodthorpe (mixed freight) and Epinal Way;45305 and 34053 leaving Loughborough; 45305 at Woodthorpe, Quorn and Woodthorpe; 34053 leaving Loughborough, approaching and leaving Quorn, at Kinchley Lane and at Woodthorpe (mixed freight and then TPO); 46521 leaving Loughborough, at A6 Bridge (minerals), approaching Quorn and Kinchley Lane; 777 at A6 Bridge and Epinal Way; 92214 at Woodthorpe, approaching Quorn (mixed) and Woodthorpe (minerals). Jinty 47406 had one run to collect the minerals.
