steamontheweb's video: Great Central Railway Railways at Work 180415

@Great Central Railway Railways at Work 180415
The weather was beautiful for the Great Central's "Railways at Work Weekend" and they ran the event with their customary skill and dedication; all-in-all a very enjoyable event. Guest engine was GWR 6960 Raveningham Hall from the West Somerset Railway, and 'semi-guest' was LMS Black Five 45305. 9F 92214 was renumbered as 92220 "Evening Star", and the LMS 8F 48624 had been repainted in black for the occasion (too shiny said the grouches!). These locomotives were supported by Ivatt 46521 and Standard 2 78019 in its last year. 46521 at Charnwood Water, Woodthorpe, Quorn cutting and Kinchley Lane; 48624 at Woodthorpe, Quorn cutting then at Quorn and Kinchley Lane with the goods; 45305 at Woodthorpe, Quorn cutting and Kinchley Lane, then at Epinal Way Bridge with the goods; 92220 at Woodthorpe and Kinchley Lane then at Woodthorpe with the goods; 6960 leaving Quorn (twice) and at Woodthorpe with the goods; 78019 at Woodthorpe, Quorn cutting and departing Quorn. TPO runs: 6960 at Epinal Way Bridge and 92220 approaching the "dropping zone" at Quorn.
