First I want to thank all of you who entered ! You guys made this so fun for me (my first hosted contest) and I hope it was fun for you to. I enjoyed watching every single one of all's videos (all 246) and did not realize how hard it was to pick winners. I Even created a new catagorie (Best Caroline) because I loved all the videos so much How I Voted !! When judging I used a scoring system for my criteria. The system consists of a 1-3 score for each category & the criteria falls into four categories: Technicality and Structure: Editing cleanliness - fades, interlaces, transitions. Were the cuts choppy? Musicality: Appropriateness - song choices -- are there mismatched clips? Is there substance and structure behind the song selection in relation to the clips? Emotion and Storytelling: Approach -- Does the video have a concept/theme? Do the clips correspond with one another to help understand the story? Overall Presentation: Appeal -- in regard to sources such as song & footage.
