@Sonic P-06 (Silver Release) - Silver's Crisis City (S-Rank)
Go here for download and to check out the creator: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCD5aQLlCD4 It's that time again, ChaosX has released the next major update to Project 06. This time, it's the Silver campaign which adds in the final two characters, Blaze and Amy. This update also gives three new powerups for Silver. Two are hidden in Dusty Desert and Aquatic Base while the third is given for beating Flame Core after S-Ranking every Silver stage. Like I did when I played Shadow's release, I will not be using the S-Rank reward myself since I want people to use this as a guide to getting S-Rank and the completion reward for Silver is especially overpowered. In Dusty Desert, the powerup will grant Silver the jump ball and his old Heart of Wind. If you played older versions, you might remember Silver being able to hold his air dash but suddenly can't anymore. It's because its locked behind this powerup so you need to find it now. The jump ball is pretty obvious just from the footage, it gives Silver the ability to jump on enemies like everyone else and is a huge life saver in close combat. The powerup Aquatic Base gives Silver the Psychic Knife, one of his moves from Generations. The move is simple, hold the B/O button and then release. It throws an enemy piercing wave that does 3 damage and can be used multiple times in a row. Useful for the worms because they suck fighting up close. Blaze is probably the least improved character in the entire roster which isn't really a surprise. She was already the most polished character in the retail version where was little that needed to be done. Like other characters, she can chain her actions together such as doing a double jump into a homing attack. Her tornado is on its own button and she now has basic ground attack. Overall not that useful but like I said, minimal was needed to be done for her. Now onto the level itself, this is Silver's worst stage by a long shot. The hitboxes on the the steel girders are very small and I have to mash R2 in order to hit it at the right time. It should be noted you only have to tap R2 once your in place, you don't need to hold it. The other major issue with this level is the tornado. That tornado is the single most obnoxious hazard in the entire game. It's scripted to throw flaming cars at you at specific points in the level and they come at you FAST. As far as I can tell, you cannot actually grab them in mid air and so you have to try and run around when they come. If you noticed near the end on the building, I was just flying around like madman. That is because I had previously lost EVERY SINGLE RUN up to that point to the stupid flying car. The tornado will throw multiple cars at that exact point in the stage and the best you can do and run around and pray it doesn't hit you. It's also the reason why I use the first steel girder near the start even though I can easily fly over to the next platform. There is a scripted flaming car there and if you don't use the girder, you will get hit.
