Tram rails are lined with banana leaf ropes, circuit of race walking. http://www.swisswalking.org/fr/news/detail/296 Un processus tout à fait particulier a été appliqué avant le 20km marche messieurs le 13 août 2014 aux Championnats d'Europe d’athlétisme dans les rues de la ville de Zurich (Switzerland). Les rails de tram le long du parcours ont été remplis de cordelettes en feuilles de banane, arrivées des Pays-Bas. À La Haye ces cordes sont utilisées à l’occasion des sorties en calèche de la famille royale, à Zurich elles doivent éviter aux marcheurs de trébucher. (c) JG www.swisswalking.org
