The Collaborative, established in 2020, is hosted by Sydnee Walker and is focused on connecting the Sports and Entertainment Industry with aspiring Journalists and PR Professionals via Zoom fireside chats. Dr. Ashley Little joined us for our March session. Award-Winning Serial Entrepreneur and Forbes Next 1000 Recipient, Little is the Founder and CEO of Ashley Little Enterprises, an all encompassing brand changing the landscape of digital and print media for current and aspiring entrepreneurs. Dr. Little, portfolio extends across multiple industries public relations, marketing, speaking, book publishing, writing, and media. She is the Founder/Editor-In-Chief of Creating Your Seat At The Table International Magazine and Media Brand. Her company Little Publishing, is a Publishing House who helps write, publish, and market books for new, seasoned, and children's authors worldwide. Lastly, she is the Founder/CEO/Best-Selling/Visionary Author of The HBCU Experience Movement, the First Black-Owned Company to launch books written and published by prominent HBCU alumni of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Her brands have been featured in Forbes, Black Enterprise, Revolt, NBC, Fox, CBS, to name a few. Currently, she is Ms. Georgia Global Continental 2023. Through the Biden and Harris Administration and Leaders Esteem Christian Bible University, she was also awarded with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Little is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and a member of Alpha Phi Omega. She is very involved in her community, organizations and non-profits. Dr. Little received her undergraduate degree in English from North Carolina A&T State University. Additionally, she received her Master's degree in Leadership and Coaching and her Doctorate in Leadership. We discussed her motivation to become an entrepreneur, how her HBCU (NCAT) taught her to own any room she’s in and advice for those who aspire to be a full-time entrepreneur..
