About 6 years ago, I started making videos with my cousins and friends for fun; I would spend hours online, trying to teach myself some basic filmmaking. At first it was just a hobby, but after realizing that I might actually be somewhat good at this, I got even more interested and started working more on my filmmaking skills. Slowly, this hobby of mine had turned into a passion. I started TITV 5 years ago today with the release of our first video "GTA: Dhaka City - In Real Life", and everything kicked off from there. From the beginning my goal was to be different and produce distinctive/unique work - something that isn't typical in Bangladesh, I guess. I always knew that we wouldn't be successful in terms of numbers since we weren't constantly uploading, but that didn't really stop me cause I genuinely enjoyed filmmaking and because I believe in quality over quantity. Over these years we've made sketches, short films, fan films, parodies and web series' - one which ran for 3 years/3 seasons. Along the way we also managed to get our work selected in some festivals and also win a few. All of this made me understand and appreciate the rigorous process/art of filmmaking, and helped shape me into a better filmmaker. But what made these past 5 years so amazing aren't just the finished productions. TITV has been a giant learning experience for me. I received a great amount of positive feedback and constructive criticism which will undoubtedly help me in my future endeavors. Most importantly, the experience and the memories I made with the cast/crew (friends and family members), will stick with me forever. So yes, TITV's run ends on its 5th Birthday/Anniversary/Whatever you wanna call it. Don't worry though, I will still be making films - just not on this channel/page. Since TITV is a friend/family... thing, I want to keep it as it is. The Facebook and YouTube channel will remain, and anyone can go and watch our videos. It's just that I won't be posting any new videos since there won't be any... the crew members have gone in different directions and are in different parts of the world, and I want to keep/preserve this as a memory of my life before university. We might make a TITV production if by chance the crew is around at the same place at the same time.... but I don't see that happening soon. With all that being said, I am very thankful for all the love and support I've gotten from our fans and well wishers over the years, I really appreciate it.
