Im Kleinkunstverein stößt Tatortreiniger Schotty auf einen mäßig talentierten Clown und findet sich kurz darauf zum Versuchspublikum auserkoren. Der Clown fordert Kritik ohne Schleifchen, die er prompt bekommt. Es folgt eine Sinnkrise des Clowns, mit der Schotty erst einmal selber fertig werden muss. Humor ist eben doch ein hartes Brot.
