I went to this killer porch concert by La Banda Sin Nombre. (Thanks Marlow!) Their haunting rendition of this classic Mexican ghost story blew me away. It's the story of a young woman who is murdered(drowned I think) by her lover and comes back to wander the Earth forevermore. La Llorona means "The Weeper". People are usually drawn to her by her crying or moaning.
