tendarian's video: Shooting the Springfield 1911 A1: Precision Recoil - Review Part 2

@Shooting the Springfield 1911 A1: Precision & Recoil - Review Part 2
How precise is the Springfield Armory 1911 a1 9mm? To find out I went out to the shooting range to test its accuracy/precision in the field. So, let's do some target shooting and find out. As I have already told in the last video where I provided a review of the Springfield Armory Model 1911 -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZIWq8TUpuU. I might have been a little too harsh on my review, because when it comes to target shooting the gun is just great. I have been shooting the Sig Sauer P226 X5 for a long time and switching to Springfield Armory 1911 a1 has about the same feeling. The recoil even is soft, almost like the same as the Sig Sauer P226 X5, which costs around $3000, and in comparison, the Springfield 1911 A1 costs around $1000. I must admit I'm really surprised how precise this gun is. If you are a competition shooter and used to high precision, then you will get it with this gun. I know these people who complain about Glock guns and I'm sure one of them. I have been shooting a Glock and it feels like cheap plastic toy gun to me. It's not the same with the Springfield Armory 9mm - that's for sure. This gun is unbelievably precise. However, I must admit I was shooting at only 47 feet which is only about 13 meters. And as a competition shooter I'm used to shoot at 25 meters - so this was quite easy for me. I will see how to gun will do at 25 meters. But looking at the target and the grouping I could accomplish so far, I don't think it will be much different when it comes to precision at 25 meters.
