Fansproject. The very word perks the ears of any acute Transformers Collector. Since their first scratch-built figure, there has been feverish demand for their subsequent projects: The Protector upgrade Kit and 2nd edition of their Crossfire Gestalt upgrades. Botcon 2010 gave lucky attendees a first-hand glimpse of both items at the TFsource booth and now Fansproject has provide one of their first complete prototypes of their 2nd Crossfire set: Munitioner and Explorer. This highly-anticipated set comes in the form of two scratch-built figures meant to replace limbs of the Energon Bruticus mold, taking the Crossfire concept leaps and bounds further than the first Aerialbot upgrade. Unfortunately the set has been plagued with production delays, keeping fans patiently waiting. TFsource is proud to give you this first look at Fansproject's Explorer and Munitioner before they will be available for purchase. This set is going to be hot. In fact, it's amazing that the set hasn't sold out yet. Since Fansproject's announcement of the Bruticus upgrade, the price of an ROTF Bruticus set has more than doubled and its hard to find someone willing to give one up for less than Fifty US dollars. Expect the final combined set of Munitioner and Explorer along with a mint ROTF Bruticus to reach into the hundreds in the coming years. Fansproject has done it again and shown the Transformers world that they are listening and will pick up the torch when the original manufacturers aren't able to cross the line from mainstream to fanboy figures. If you ever wanted to add a little more "bad ass" to your army of Decepticons, there has never been a better chance that Fansproject's 2nd Crossfire set. The parts all fit snuggly and although the company has stated their production woes, none are apparent in this final prototype of the set. If you are on the fence about these guys, you might want to jump off quick before this brigade barrels right through and never looks back. ----- Produced by: Diablien - http://www.collecticon.org Music by: The Coming Weak - http://www.thecomingweak.com Head Held High- http://www.headheldhigh.net Figures provided by TF Source - http://www.tfsource.com Add-on kit provided by Fansproject - http://www.fansproject.com Special thanks to Q for photograph assistance Special thanks to TFW2005.com for their Botcon 2010 photos - http://www.tfw2005.com
