From a Japanese Muscle Car to a front wheel drive tuner car in the early 2000's - it has yet to make a return. This sixth generation 1997 Toyota Celica GT we are driving today is equipped with a BEAMS Engine swap which is one of the weirdest engine setups I've ever driven in a Japanese car. It has a smoothness unlike almost any four cylinder I've ever driven, and it's a shame more people don't utilize it.
