Both events are recognized by CID (Conseil International de la Danse), International Dance Council, http://www.cid-portal.org, the only non-profit organization in the world representing dance that is recognized by UNESCO, United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization with headquarters in Paris, France and administrative office in Athens, Greece. More than 7,000 dancers from 25 countries and 6 continents including Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, South America, and North America have competed at Dance World Cup since 2008.
