THE INITIATION The Moon loves to be in Cancer so yes, there is an inherent yumminess to this New Moon, in general . . . I say ‘in general’ because as we all are beginning to realize in our Through the Looking Glass existence these days, here on earth, semantics, meaning & experience don’t exactly line up in the way they used to & expectations & memory are often not our ‘friends’ in navigating the current waves of transformation. What does that mean for us? It means that we need to set aside what we expect, what we know, what has proven to be true. This is particularly significant as we move into the new Nodal Axis (Aries/Libra) . . . also today! The Nodal Axis is a map of what we are globally hungering for as well as globally releasing. At a time when it appears that rampant individualism may be killing us a civilization (the rise of facist politics, global warming, fail of economies) we are being asked once again WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US, how are we setting our course. Things to pay attention to: emotional reactivity, previously undisclosed inner strivings & hunger, ‘trapped’ emotions. Remember this when thinking about attachments (in this upcoming Venus Retrograde) is that we need to forgive ourself with a lot of tenderness & gratitude when we surrender those attachments, for they have served us well (up until this point) even if it doesn’t seem that way. Courage my angels, refuge doesn’t look like it used to. I will be leading a 40 day practice (for the duration of the Venus Retrograde) at 7 am EST each morning. The practice will be 20 minutes or so (plenty of time for you West Coasters to go back to sleep 😊 ).
