The United States Olympic team added two more medals to their already impressive count on Feb. 19, as the women took home the silver and bronze in the bobsled event. Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse of Canada, came in 1st place, winning the gold. The Canadians won their second straight gold medal in women's Olympic bobsled. U.S. Elana Meyers native of Douglasville, Georgia and Lauryn Williams who was raised in Detroit came in 2nd place, winning the silver. And U.S. Jamie Greubel and Aja Evans came in third, winning the bronze. This is the first time two U.S. women's bobsleds medaled at the Olympics, wow!.
