De regie ligt in handen van Guy Weizman. Falk Richter schreef de tekst - een bewerking van het epische Perzische gedicht De Samenspraak van de vogels Een muzikaal verhaal over een groep vogels die op zoek gaat naar een leider. De vogels komen er na een avontuurlijke reis vol muziek en dans achter dat zij zélf de koning zijn van hun eigen lot.
