(Adolf Cortel, February 2012) A Cathode Ray Tube can be easily built with a round bottomed flask according to the directions of Nyle Steiner (see the URL in the video). A bluish beam of electrons flying across the flask is easily deflected by a neodimyum magnet or (in a much more controlled way) by a coil under the flask
