(Adolf Cortel, February, 2013) . The microwave transmitter and receiver have been removed from an old burglar alarm and used as well as aluminum and bakelite plates to build Michelson and Fabry Perot Interferometers which allow measuring the wavelength (31,0 and 30,0 mm in both interferometers, respectively). Interferences with a Lloyd's mirrors are easily demonstrated. Of course, I have not rights on the wonderful music of Ana Moura which I have included as soundtrack.
