toc1955's video: DIY gyroscope: conservation of angular momentum

@DIY gyroscope: conservation of angular momentum
(Adolf Cortel, December 2021) A Gyrobot is a toy gyroscope sold as a set with a lot of pieces which allow building several gadgets. Since it is a motorized gyroscope working with three batteries it can be used to build some interesting physics apparatus. I bought it from amazon. In this video I show how this gyroscope allows demonstrating the conservation of angular momentum and how it changes with the torque of applied forces. It can be nicely checked that the torque is proportional to the velocity of precession. I hope that the videos and pictures show clearly how it is built; if somebody needs some details, please, ask me. Thanks to George (from Text to Speech: Free online TTS service) for lending me his voice!
