Toute une époque, toute une génération ... celle des années 80. Et un hymne passé à la postérité : "What a feeling Bein's believin' I can have it all Now I'm dancing for my life" Flashdance — ou Le Feu de la danse au Québec — (Flashdance) est un drame musical américain réalisé par Adrian Lyne et sorti en 1983. Alex Owens (Jennifer Beals) vit à Pittsburgh, capitale de l'industrie sidérurgique, gangrénée par le chômage. Elle travaille comme soudeuse sur un chantier. Le soir, pour gagner un peu d'argent, elle danse dans un cabaret. Et puis elle aime cet art, alors, progressivement, elle sacrifie tout son temps libre pour s'entraîner afin d'entrer dans une grande école de danse.
