hello! this cover is one i've recorded on a whim during one, lonely night while on quarantine. at first i wasn't planning on uploading this because this was just me trying to deal with my feelings, but i figured i could share the song with you in hopes of helping you deal with yours as well. although the pandemic is horrible enough by itself, each one of us is probably struggling against our own battles too. a deteriorating mental state, grieving over what has been lost, giving in to anxiety, and fighting for a nation that's breaking down before your very eyes—these are only some i can list down from experience, but i am aware that there is much more pain out there... that we are constantly facing challenges of our own and that this pandemic has only brought more fuel to the collective trauma that we are now experiencing. it's only valid to feel hurt, hopeless, or whatever the hell it is that you're feeling as long as we're trying to understand these and putting them onto perspective. so, i'm just posting a short notice right here that my channel is open for everyone to feel, to express, to understand and be understood. this is my safe space, so it is only right that the people i share it with feel safe too. though this is just a mere channel for kpop covers, in all its imperfections, i hope it can still be a place of love for you, and that your heart would still feel welcomed whenever you visit. i hope that even if just a bit, you may find some comfort here and in the things that i share to you. i may not know whoever you are or whatever you're going through, but here in my channel, your voice and your story is heard. lastly, because i have been avoiding social media and the news for a while, i am not yet educated enough to speak on behalf of the many pressing issues of today. i have my own set of frustrations and pent-up emotions regarding them, and i am no better than anyone in trying to settle these emotions in the right place yet. but just know that beyond this channel is someone who will always stand with, and for the people. i'm sorry this message is late, but i hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. things don't look the best right now, i know, but i hope that the days are good to you still, and that you continue to believe in the light even during these dark times. until that light comes again, may everyone stay in the arms of their angels till then. ♡ Angel by Sarah McLachlan instrumental by Sing King (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9z9CJVjfYA)
