And the fact that this was Jimin's composition... and Jimin's honey-like voice oh my god... ;A; Just a short insight I got from the song: I feel like Jimin is actually dedicating Promise to ARMYs... I think he's trying to say that he doesn't want us to get hurt anymore because we're their fans (hence, the lyrics, "You're hurting 'cause you're mine"), that's why he's urging us to focus on ourselves more and to promise him that we'll take care and love ourselves better.
