the first person i've ever loved entirely with all my heart and soul, without seeking for anything in return, was jimin. i don’t think i ever loved a person more than i could ever love him. sometimes i'm scared i might love him too much and end up breaking; but more than that, i'm scared of letting my love for him go. deep down, i know the feeling i have for him is temporary, that i might end up finding someone whom i'll love endlessly, passionately, more than i have loved him so. but of course, more than anyone else, i know how delusional and unrealistic this sounds: to be carrying in your heart a love that cannot be. jimin alone is a moment in your life you can never feel again—beautifully raw, meaningful and sincere, to the point of being perfect, just as a moment is perfect however short-lasting and ephemeral it is. he’s a radiant star from another world shining in all his brilliance, whose faintest light i could not even reach with my touch. he’s a butterfly with gentle wings, gracefully soaring in your sight, but one you could never get close to and grasp. park jimin—a moment lost in time, a starlight from another world, a butterfly whose wings seem delicate and fragile, but can hold so much soul in it and can fly through the unending sky. he was magnificent and full of wonder, the same way he was untouchable, unattainable, and too far away. yet in the coldest and darkest of days, it was his warmth and light that i felt the most. it was his wings that embraced me and gave me the kind of comfort that heals. it was this same park jimin, seemingly beyond my reach, who held my hand and saved me over and over again from the depths of my shadows. and i know that he will continue to do so for an even longer time. so dear park jimin, thank you for everything. out of your 25 years of existence, i have only known you in 4, but in that same span of time, i was able to love fully and without regrets. may the sun always shine on you wherever you choose to fly; just know i and many others will forever love you and wish you the best. ♡ contents used are for entertainment purposes only; no copyright infringement intended.
