With the popularity of James Bond and Dr No in 1962 ,Patrick McGoohan's Danger Man TV series was resurrected in 1964 and called Secret Agent for the American market.Taking a much more serious approach to the spy genre,it was nonetheless a hit and catapulted McGoohan into major star status.Many of the actors that appeared in the Bond series showed up in Secret Agent,including a bevy of beautiful actresses,usually British,attempting to use their wiles and charms on John Drake.He dealt with them in his own inimitable style.
