This was the rocket launch for March 18, 2024 from Vandenberg AFB. --- SpaceX is reportedly targeting tonight at 7:20 p.m. for a Falcon 9 launch of Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base. Instantaneous backup opportunities at Space Launch Complex 4 East are available tonight until 8:20 p.m., and if needed, additional opportunities are available Tuesday, March 19 starting at 7:20 p.m., according to an announcement posted to social media by base officials. An official pre-launch bulletin was not released by SpaceX and the number of Starlink internet satellites to be launched was not provided at the time of this report. Similar to other West Coast Starlink launches, following stage separation, the Falcon 9 rocket's first-stage reusable booster will land on the "Of Course I Still Love You" autonomous droneship to be stationed in the Pacific Ocean, for later retrieval. A live webcast of the mission will begin on www.spacex.com and X approximately five minutes prior to liftoff.
