@EP369 - Does braking increase regenerative power in a Tesla Model 3 (like in the Outlander PHEV)?

Does braking in a Tesla increase regen power? This was the questions we were left with in one of my previous videos. Today, I put it to the test and monitor the exact numbers with the Tesla Watchdog and I drive the car in low regen settings. Low regen limits the braking to 31kW it seems. Is braking just mechanical braking or can we increase the regen power before it hits the actual brake? Just like in the Outlander PHEV?
