Editor's Notes: For this challenge I really wanted to keep things simple narratively, as opposed to my last entry which was very story-driven. One of the things that I've always loved about the genre of science fiction is that it lets you tell these amazingly big, epic stories...but ones that are grounded in human emotion. This video is specifically aimed at honoring all of the amazingly resilient female characters to come out of the genre in recent years. I didn't manage to get everyone in there as much as I would have liked (sorry SGA ladies!) but I may re-edit this at some point and try to spread the wealth a little bit more. I simply ran out of time this go-around, thanks to my hard-drive deciding to up and die earlier this week. Judges Note: There's a slight glitch in the second chorus that I couldn't get out prior to uploading. It's nothing major but know that it's not at all intentional.
