Flip video camcorders and other pocket sized cameras are based on a very simplistic design which is also where these pocket sized cameras perform best. I say this because there are a lot of Flip video reviews on YouTube with people nitpicking.... about specification and performance between updated models, different brands. Here's the thing Just keep your video shots and lighting simple, Don't move from one extreme lighting environment to the other in one continuous shot or start trying to follow unrehearsed action or go all documentary... Try to keep it simple static setups like video diary or new reader controlled spaces.
