The Academy is a group of close friends and a think tank that communes regularly to discuss all aspects of MTG, personal life, school, work, current events, and so forth that arose spontaneously and organically a few years ago and has been a constant source of inspiration and absolutely wicked humor. The Academy is not pretentious even though the description offered above inadvertently makes it sound so. It's simply difficult to express how much these brilliant men and women mean to me without sounding like a total d-bag. :-) ----
