Western Carolina University's Student Government Association and TV 62 presented the first SGA State of the University Address in a live broadcast Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. SGA President TJ Eaves discussed current events on campus, SGA accomplishments, Tuition and fees increases, upcoming events on Western's campus. TV 62 reporter Ariel Rymer also interviewed other SGA executive staff members about SGA Senate accomplishments, the Cuts Hurt initiative, SGA forums, a new SGA blog as well as other topics. This event was the first live production broadcast from TV 62, and has set the standard high for future productions.
