This is my attempt to shift the whole healthcare hubbub to a better place, with the assistance of Joe Schmuck sticking his hand in a blender. I've been very saddened and frustrated at the nature of the debate these last couple years—how the framing of the issue has created such bitterness and division. I've tried here to reframe the issue in a way that might meet the needs of both sides. A little conceptual jujitsu to sidestep the full shields everyone's got up against the other side. Please take a look and let me know your reactions, "yeah but"s and huzzahs. My attempt here is only a first stab at it. Critiques and discussion are the only way to make an idea better. And please consider forwarding this to your friends and family to get more people involved in kicking this idea around and improving it.
